CW: Death
What will you write on my tombstone when they bury me?
When I am finally free from these burdens placed upon me
When I can finally rest,
peacefully and far, far, far away from the likes of you
Will you omit the truth?
The parts about your abuse?
The parts about your sharp words cutting me deeply
The blows that were followed by concussions and shattered bones
My pieces are scattered everywhere
And quite frankly, I no longer care to try and collect them
I shall remain shattered & scattered until I am freed from this Earth
I honestly don’t care how it happens
I just hope that one day, I’ll finally be free
That I’ll get to fly away, somewhere
Someday… I’ll be free
