Sidney Lowe has landed his first new job since leaving State at the end of the last basketball season. This past week Lowe was announced as a new assistant coach for the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
Lowe previously served as an assistant in the NBA for 16 years prior to being hired as the head coach of the Wolfpack in 2006. He had a win-loss record of 86-78 during his tenure and never made an appearance in the postseason as head coach. Lowe did reach the postseason as a collegiate player when he lead State to a 1983 NCAA championship. At the end of the 2011 season, Sidney Lowe announced his resignation as head coach.
