Due to the campus-wide wired network outage and unavailability of election information, including QR codes for ballots, the Board of Elections was not able to meet yesterday, Tuesday, March 10. The board has convened this evening, on March 11, to review the situation and has decided to restore the voting access.
Voting will reopen tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The election certification will occur at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow, with election results set to take place at 9:00 p.m. in the Talley Student Union lobby. Students who have already voted will not be able to submit another ballot.
With the updated voting timeline, the scheduled runoff date will occur on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a runoff reveal at 9:00 p.m. in Talley 4251. To vote, you can go to https://getinvolved.ncsu.edu/, the Student Government Elections webpage and QR codes directing voters to the ballot.
